About the Position
The RN/LPN in GCRMC's Alamogordo Surgical Associates performs the following:
- Assist patients with scheduling, and instructing on procedures;
- Assist patients with prescriptions.
- Assisting in rooming patients which consist of assessing the patient, medication reconciliation and documenting in the EHR system.
- Assist in preparation of medical record ensuring all testing and pertinent information is in the chart.
- Assist surgeons with minor office procedures
- Removal of staples and sutures at post op visits
- Wound dressing changes
- Stocking rooms with supplies
- Ordering in office supplies
Qualifications/Requirements
- Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing - RN/LPN, with valid board licensure
- 1-2 years of experience in Surgical/Surgical Center
- BLS within one month of employment.
- ACLS within 6 months of employment
Shift schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
- Friday: 8 AM to 12 NN

Benefits
- Hourly Wages is based on experience, education and certifications
- RN: $24.95 $36.72
- LPN: $24.00 (10 years experience)
