About the Position: Operating Room Technician | Fulltime | Days
The OR Technician assists during surgical procedures by ensuring and maintaining the integrity of a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation as needed to the surgical team. Participates in unit activities that assure high levels of quality related to patient care.
The OR Tech at Vail Valley functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
The Surgical Unit

The surgeons and support staff of Surgical Associates are experts in emergency and trauma care and also specialize in general surgery, as well as cancer, laparoscopic and critical care surgeries.

Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum one year of Operating Room experience working as an OR Technician in a Hospital setting.
- Certification(s):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association required.
