About NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care
NightLight addresses an important need in the healthcare delivery system. We offer pediatric patients after hours care in a kid-friendly environment and provide quality, affordable, compassionate services to children from newborn to 21 years. NightLight offers a variety of services, such as:
- In-house labs (strep, flu, urinalysis)
- In-house x-ray (radiologist read)
- Injectable meds (Rocephin, Bicillin, steroids)
- Inhaled meds (albuterol, racemic epi)
- Procedures (laceration repair, splinting, I&D)
About the Position
We are looking for Pediatricians (MD/DO) within Houston and the surrounding areas. NightLight Pediatricians mentor and work with nurse practitioners or physicians assistants to deliver the highest quality screening, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of minor non-emergent health issues, including:
- Allergic reactions
- Asthma attacks and breathing treatments
- Pain relief
- Rashes and hives
- Wound care and stitches
- Fever management and education
- Wart removal
- Broken bones, sprains, and burns
- Cold, flu, and fevers
- Vomiting and stomach pain
- X-Ray examinations
- Management of mild to moderate dehydration
- Prescription and treatment education

Shift Schedules
- Full Time: 4 shifts per week; every other weekend
- Part Time: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend
- PRN: 4 shifts per month

Minimum Education:
- Graduated from an accredited Medical School
- Successful completion of an accredited Residency program
Position Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics, Med-Peds
- Current PALS or BLS certificate
- Texas Medical Board Licensure
Hours of Operation
- Weekdays 3pm - 11pm
- Sept - May Weekends 11am - 9pm
- June-Aug Weekends & Holidays 12pm - 7pm
